Attempt at roasting chicken

In one of the cookbooks i brought back from Singapore, there's a super yummy picture of roast chicken and i have been super tempted to roast one. So here goes...


Here's the roast chicken after being roasted and air dried after basting with malt sugar.


Taste? A little bland and it taste better with thai chilli sauce. Remind myself never to scoop malt sugar out of the tub with the plastic measuring spoon. It's near impossible to lift the spoon.
