Dentist are scary

I am fearful of dentist and it sucks that i'm going to see dentist to fill a chip. Imagine the dentist drilling away the old fill and putting in the new filling. I was petrified in the seat. Wat was worse was that as i walked out of the dental clinic. It felt painful.. Filling a chip IS not suppose to hurt. I beared with the pain and headed to the busstop. But it became jabbing pain.. cannot stand it and went back to the dentist again. It's so painful that i teared..

Had to wait as the dentist was serving another guy. Seems that there's a hairline crack horizontally across my teeth. So as the filling hardens, the contraction is causing pressure to the crack. So the dentist suggest remove some filling and seal the crack. BuT.. if the pain remains, he would have to remove all the filling and do some nerve infection treatment as e nerve may be the prob.

I was tinking.. Wat the mess did i get myself into? If i didn't come to fill the chip, dun have all these prob lo.. Anyway, ask the dentist to try his suggestion. And i had to sit outside to wait for 30 min to monitor the situation. Immediately after he remove some filling, can feel the pain go away. So i waited and waited until the dentist say "Ok, you can go.. "

Sighh.. Spent e whole afternoon at the dentist.
