It was a beautiful wedding.

Congrats to Wong Yi and Xiu Hua!. It was a beautiful wedding despite the stress behind the scenes. I had a big role to play in the wedding as the Jie mei, Chauffeur, Emccee and one of the mastermind of the proposal. Yes.. The groom has yet to propose to the bride, and there will be a surprise proposal on the wedding day itself.

I woke up at 3am on Sat morn, and there were tons of situations for the day to come.
1) My eyes got stinged by the chilli that i prepared for the games. As a result, i couldn't wear contact lens in the morn. Imagine getting eyes stinged at 3am in the morning. So that killed my mood for breakfast and i left my house w tons of stuff.

2) Lost at Paya Lebar. Yes.. I couldn't find adrian's house and was late. And yes.. Adrian gave me exact description how to get to his house from PIE, but i was too sleepy to recall..

3) The groom only order 1 hotel room instead of 2. So we had to "evacute" the room for the proposal. But.. The groom's mum was with them, so had to hijack her so that the couple can go to the hotel room alone. But alas.. wat we didn't expect was the makeup artists were waiting at the hotel room. SO.. the proposal surprise was gone.. #$%@!&^#@

4) The videographer was uncontactable. So we dun even know we will be able to get the video in time for the dinner. She only appeared at 830pm!!

5) The projector and laptop fell when the table leg folded. Luckily the hotel staff grabbed Ben's laptop in time, but the projector fell to the floor. Anyway, no one else knew abt this hiccup except the front row..

In all, it was a beautiful and touching wedding. The strong personnel(aka jie meis and bros) working behind the scenes were fantastic, despite having had 3-4 hours of sleep and a long rough day. The jie meis made off with a heafty sum of $ from the groom and had all the bros sweating =P

Xiuhua's grandma had every1 teary, the old lady was crying even before she reached the house. She was so happy that her granddaughter is getting married and was crying. It touched every1 and every1 was teary. I think it was really sweet and touching..

Arthur and i only managed 2 rounds of practise for the speech. We did well but we could have done it even better. A little jitters at the start but were steady after that. But i guess, it's really an amazing thing we all managed to speak straight after the long and super tiring day. But we were both steady and did well. =)

In all, all the effort was worth it as the wedding was beautiful and memorable...
