Ikea Sale!
The Ikea here in Seattle is currently having their twice a year sale, so what better time to go shopping for furniture then now? So me, Kevin, Linda, and a few of his friends headed over to Ikea for some shopping.
However, I have to point out that I wasn't planning to buy much. My shopping list consisted of only 3 items,
Although this sale occurs only twice a year, I'm surprised that the place wasn't that crowded. Mind you, Ikea is always crowded. It just wasn't as crowded as I expected it to be. Walking around, I realised that the sale just wasn't that great. Yes, there were discount. But the discounts were mostly on items that I didn't plan to buy. =P And most of the discount was just a small discount. There were some nice discounted items, but nothing that I really wanted.
Although I said the sale wasn't that great, I ended up buying more then I came to buy. But thats expected rite? They were all small stuffs, like 4 kitchen towels for $2 , tools set containing hammer, plier, etc, for $6, 2 table insular for hot pots for $2. Cheap cheap stufffs.
The floor mat I found, no discount there for $20. The kitchen container, I coulded find at all. The most important thing was the computer table. The one I wanted was on discount! A stupid $3 discount off its price of $39.99. (What a "great" sale....) So off I went to get the table, only to find out, because of the "great" discount, the color I wanted was sold out. The other color left was white, which had no discount. The thing with white is thats it gets dirty and scratched easiler. Since there's no discount for the white, I decided that I'll come back another day. It'll give me some time to thing about it.
In conclusion, I went home without the thing I needed the most, a computer table. Poor me has to continue sitting on the floor.

- Closet container for putting forks, spoons, etc *it's called a cultery tray -added by ella =P*
