Chip??

We bought some fleece and sweaters from Old Navy during last week's thanksgiving. And i was about to throw them into the washing machine today when i noticed this in 1 of Derrick's new sweaters. There's this tag on the inside that writes "Remove before washing or Wearing"



On futher inspection, this turns out to be an IR device

You know the kind that they stick on your library books?
Now the question here is, that sweater wasn't expensive and it has this device? is it for security?
Maybe it's a memory clothes, one that remember the last wearer..
