Yummy breakfast to start the busy saturday
Yes, we or should i say ella have a long list of to-do/ to-buy list today.
Things to do:
1) Post office to mail ella's tax matters
2) Target to buy new bedsheets that will fit a 11inch thick mattress...
3) Walmart to buy foldable table and chairs, cupboard, etc..
4) Ranch99 to buy soya milk and do next week's grocery.
Ermm.. so what more better than to start this hectic weekend than to go Brown Bag cafe. Except that the cafe at Redmond is closed since our last visit. I'm missing that place, don't understand why it's closed when the biz is really good and alwiz packed. So we headed to the Kirkland's branch. Derrick wanted his fav super-thick pancake, except that this time round he ordered the small serving size. which is 1 pancake. Yes, it's 1 super fluffy thick pancake.
I ordered Halibut and chips. hmm.. Not very gd, i think the club that guy-on-the-next-table's having looks much better. I'm going to have that the next time.
ella is seriously a caffine addict. She left house without coffee, and barely made it out of the post office. I can feel my frustration growing, my mood swinging, and i'm screaming for coffee. The minute she got a seat at the cafe, even before the waitress could ask me anything, i asked her for coffee... Yesh.. I need caffine badly and i down 2 cups of it in preparation for the crazy day.
After 2 hours of shopping in Walmart, this is our buys. Yes.. It's heavy and bulky. I've been thinking about buying the foldable table and chairs set for v long. We always have frens over, say almost every week. And everytime, i need Ricky to bring his chairs over.
As usual, ella buys stuff without thinking whether the car can fit? Well.. Derrick is the best person at arranging stuff. =) And i must say, we don't need a SUV to fit all these stuff, a Honda Coupe has major boot space. haha.. After putting our things in, we next headed to Ranch 99 to do our grocery shopping.
it's a long day of shopping and Derrick commented that, we actually drove 30miles to Renton for Walmart, which is equivalent to the end of singapore to the other end. Well, that's the nearest Walmart to us. The weather has been kind to us all afternoon, until the time to head home. It's rained super heavy on the roads and the rained stopped when we reached Redmond -home. And guess what. few hours later, it's starting snowing.
yes. 1-2inch of snow. Hello.. it's spring time and near April.. SNOW?? YESH. It snowed last night and tonight. I'm glad i'm not driving in that snow.
