Xbox ring of death

Did i tell you last saturday Derrick bought Rock band for Xbox? And they had a smashing time playing at fren's place. Well derrick had been thinking about buying for a long long time. Way before Guitar Hero times and now the Rock Band.

And he was so keen in playing that he brought his xbox and bought the Rock Band on the way to fren's place.

Well that's about the first and only time he get to play his Rock Band. Let's just say, there's was a power trip and that killed the Xbox. I'm not kidding... Xbox is that fragile. And this is the all-time famous ring of death. Notice the top right quadrant is not lighted. That's is the code for hardware failure.



Now the game hangs and cannot boot up at times. This ring of death is so "famous" that there's actually a 3 years warranty for it. But staying in redmond and working on Microsoft campus doesn't get u speedy repair to this. The service center is in Texas, and it will take them 20 business days to repair it.

Guess, Derrick and his "band" will not be playing for the next 1 mth. Unless some1 lends us their Xbox 360.
