Tulip fest 2009
This year is our second time visiting the tulip farms at Skagit Valley. And we have family visiting us this time, so it seems fit to make the long drive to see the beautiful bed of tulips.
Still our favourite tulip so far. We loved this during our first tulip visit 2 years ago and this still looks the most appealing. The striking orange and red combination. More importantly, do you see the frills at the edges of the tulips? Now, that's what i say is unique
Here's us in the bed of red tulips. The weather was beautiful and it was certainly a beautiful way to spend the day at the tulip farm. I think it was also a first-timer for most of the family visiting us to see a tulip farm. And these tulips are huge... Much bigger than the holland tulips that we are used to seeing back home.
