Chinatown 2007
Yup.. I braved the crowd with sharon and jiawei to see the Chinese New Year Stalls at Chinatown on Sunday. Felt that it's kind of boring, well.. If you walk 1 of the streets, you will find the same stuff being sold on every other streets.
The only thing that i bought is this "双喜", the paper cutting is at S$2. Very cheap and nice, so i bought it as gift for my brother for his upcoming wedding.
The only thing that i found interesting about this year's Chinese New Year was this advertising. They were projecting the advertisements on the white building and to project such a clear image, the projector must be super duper powerful.
It was hoisted across the road. And we were very curious about the man next to the projector. Was he clicking to change the ads? A high tech machine that still requires human intervention? Or was he there to look after the powerful projector?
