Derrick's team gathering

To celebrate their recent successful product release, Derrick's PM suggested a gathering for sat. One of his team mate volunteered his house. It's at Snoqualmie, which is 40min drive away from work. His colleague provided directions to his place as online maps does not point to his house. It's new and in a secluded place. I was looking forward to the house in the wildness.. Well.. During last week's windstorm, he had 2 hours of power outage..

And guess what we saw when we turned out of the main road into the area.. It's a new community with lots of nice beautiful houses. Just like those houses in Desperate housewife. k.. I'm a little country bumpkin and have yet to see these beautiful houses..

And he has a bouncy castle in front of the house. The host has 2 kids and he bought it as gift for them. For US$250, he gotton it from Amazon after hearing the raves about it. Indeed, with this castle, his kids immediately became the coolest kids in the area, and suddenly he knew all his neighbours...

It was definitely an eye opener. We didn't know that you could choose your land and choose the configuration and the builder will build the house for you. And every1 enjoyed each other's company in the beautiful sun. In fact, every1 stayed until pretty late. And kids from nearby homes pop by the main door to ask politely "Can i play in the castle?"
