NDP 2008 at Microsoft
I have never been patriotic but being away from Singapore, made this day somewhat special. It's even warmer to the heart to come to know of a bigger group of Singaporeans residing in Seattle, USA. They are from a online group, meetup.com
What's even a sweeter deal was the yummy and glorious food. The event somewhat became a potluck event, and the meetup people can cook really really well. The curries, desserts, etc.. totally blew us away. We on the other hand, made almond jelly with longans, bubor hitam and fried lots of prawn crackers.

i LOVE the almond jelly longan and the awesome fresh keropok (didn't have time to eat the others) - i'm actually munching on the keropok right now :D thank you!!

glad to see u here. Glad you love the almond jelly.. Hee.. did anyone tell u how good your gula melaka was? Kelvin had like 4-5 servings of it. lol

what?! 4 servings?! i'm impressed! it's one of my favorite desserts growing up and i can't even eat 4 at one go. i'll tell you something tho'... i came home with excess of coconut and sugar and i made chendol hee hee. it was AWESOME!
