Derrick's Birthday

It was Derrick's birthday on Monday and the poor boy was saying to keep a slice of leftover cheesecake. So that he can put a candle on it to sing himself a birthday song. What he didn't know is that the secret birthday squad had plans and I was to play along with the surprise.

I brought the birthday boy to TGIF restaurant for his birthday treat, a rare treat considering that we both been on low carb diet for a while. To make it a sweeter deal, he got to choose a dessert and have it.

That's the birthday boy and his yummy brownie with hot fudge and ice-cream. It's certainly a day we won't be counting the calories.
