New experiment
Saw this at a thrift store, and was considering hard whether to buy. The first being that the box was super old. But when i opened the box, the set was still looking brand new in the plastic bag. And since it's selling for USD$4, that's even cheaper than the Kueh Pie Tie mould that i bought in Singapore. Yet, this very set is interchangeable, where i can make shells and cookies.
Derrick egged me on when i was deciding to buy this. He said, that it will sure become a white elephant in the kitchen and that i won't use it. Now... Since i have some coconut in the fridge, what better way to prove him wrong and stuff him with goodies? By making some cookies..
Here's the end result. Looking pretty good and taste yummy too. It's surprising that with a little batter that i can fry this much. Brought 1 bottle of it to office where my fellow teammates love it. Going to bring another for friends if we do meet this weekend.
Definitely a keeper. Next to try would be to fry some kueh pie tie.. Cups for the turnips
