A very special potato salad

This is very special to me as it's made by Derrick. He doesn't make this potato salad often and i remember he first re-created this for me after we had this at a japanese restaurant in Singapore, which is why it's really special to me.

Last week, we had some potatos and was wondering what to do with them and Derrick suggested making potato salad for a dinner gathering that we were going. Not sure if everyone loved it or find it special. But to me, that's a really special treat that i don't get often.
