Game over: Emily 1, Parents 0

What fools we were to try to outwit the princess. Well, Emily fusses a lot at night and we figured, how about if we keep her awake during the day? Maybe she will sleep through the night?

We went ahead with this strategy and played with her, bathed her 3 times and did whatever it took to keep her awake for most of the afternoon. Let's just say it wasn't easy and she definitely wasn't the happiest baby for the day.

Result?

She fussed even more for the night. In fact, she fussed throughout the entire night. Sighh.. what were these parents thinking of? We should just let her sleep during the day. Someday, she will stay awake during the day and sleep through the night...
