Food for the day

It's saturday and we went to catch a show "Stardust, which was pretty good. After the show, we decided to go "Jack in a box" for lunch, cos ella hasn't been to one yet. We ordered 1 set to share, yup... we alwiz buy 1 set to share. so all -fans-of-our-weight-watchers can breathe a sigh of relief.

Derrick ate here previously and din like it as the bun was hard. I wanted to try it as i never eaten at "Jack in a box" before. It feels like Macdonald except the burger seems more "sophisticated".. Like" Whats kind of cheese would you like?", "How would like the beef done?"

So anyway, the 'normal' burger turned out pretty good.


Next up for dinner is... Ban Mian.
Yup, decided to try cooking this and it was gooooodd.. Most impt ingredient is the ikan bilis which i bought during our last major-shopping-at-chinese-supermarket.




Back home when my mama cooks this, i will eat a super super big bowl of this. Now, as it's my first attempt cooking this alone, i cooked very little of it. But it was really good. Next time, I can even consider cooking this for fellow Singaporeans. So whoever misses Ban Mian and dun mind ella's cooking, pls place an order with her
