Birthday Treat = Vancouver
Yeah.. It's my birthday and we driving up Vancouver, Canada for the weekend. Pretty excited about the trip and kinda concerned about the paperwork. Well... We are leaving USA and entering Canada for the first time. And what's more, driving there..
It's a 3 hour drive there and we left on fri night after work. The traffic wasn't bad and it took us 30min to clear the customs. What's weird was, you only clear 1 round of customs. ie. the customs u meet is Canada. and when u drive back to USA, you only clear USA customs.
Thinkmetric: 30km/h was 20mph
We saw this at the Canada customs had us pondering for a while. Why was the word "was" used? and why 30km/h was 20mph and not 20mph is 30km/h?
On our way back, our car was right at this position. which is interesting. Halfway in Canada, Halfway in USA. Notice that the marker is slanted. Yes, the edge of the pillar indicates the boundary..
