My very first CNY in USA

Guess what's everyone looking at? The sumptous spread of food is on the table and yet everyone's standing ard.

Well.. We having a little "lo hei" ritual. Where the greetings and wishes are read out as the ingredients get added to the yu sheng.

Here's the end product. Yummy and super sumptous yu sheng. And if you look hard, there you see big slices of abalone on top of it. Yeah... That's all thanks to our super generous sponsor Kevin and Linda. Who are both back home in Singapore for CNY.

As for us, we had a super super sumptous steamboat feast. This was my very first Chinese New Year that i spent in USA and certainly a heart warming one. Spending the evening with 16 other people, now that's what i called a homely reunion dinner.
