Topping off

Something new i learnt yesterday. Was out in the sun for lunch with my teammates when they pointed out the garage has topped off.


Here's a picture of it - Ameria flag, pine tree and a white colored beam with congratulations.

My office garage is currently undergoing construction to expand it. And seems that when the last important beam is put in, the construction workers will plant the America flag and pine tree. Some say it's to auger well for the occupants of the building, others say it's a symbol the construction went well without loss of life or serious injury..
