What did we do this saturday?

Our friend told us about Half price Bookstore having a warehouse sale where all books/video/DVDs are $1 or less. Since we had no plans for today, we decided to join them in the hunt for cheap book sales.

Upon reaching the place in Seattle, we realised how unprepared we were. We didn't expect the long queue, neither did we bring bags to hold the books. Well, most people in the queue came prepared. Apparently, they now run this warehouse sale 3 times a year.

Here's my stash of steals at $1 each.

Derrick and i ain't too much of a book lover, but we like to cook. hmm.. Maybe eating too.. =P as you can see, we bought 5 books, all of which are recipe books. Well at $1 each, you simply couldn't pass them up. I got

• one book for dieting recipes,
• one for making sushi,
• one for easy cooking with costco (ie. supermarket food),
• one cook encylopedia textbox
• one for Brunch. Indulging weekend treats.
