Never trust a watch shop with a korean lady

yes.. I learnt this lesson. We were at Ranch 99 and while Derrick was getting his haircut, i decided to take his watch to the watch shop to do a battery replacement. His watch has been flat for the past few days and we wanted to go to the watch shop at Fred Meyer. But i was thinking, since there's a shop here, why not.

There's a sign outside that writes, battery replacement. And they had tools, etc.. When i went into the store, a korean lady served me and i asked her, "Do you do battery replacement?", She said yes. So i handed her the watch. Next thing i know is.. She's fumbling with the watch and having difficulty removing the back cover. she was rough with it and i couldn't stand it. So i told her, "It's ok if you can't remove, i'm don't want to replace it" And guess what she retorted?

She said "Why you don't want to do it? You don't trust me?".. As much as i would like to tell her "Yes", I told her, "It's ok.. And she said "Why don't you try removing the cover?" I was like "huh??" Anyway, i took back the watch and took a look. OMGGGGG.. The stoopid woman did a bad scratch on the watch's back cover..

That's it, i took the watch and said "I DON't WANT TO Change battery anymore". But she kept insisting.. Nope.. I just took the watch and left. The problem was she pulled out the inner lining of the battery and Derrick didn't want to have it jammed that way.. So we went back into the store to try to fix it back. It seems that clever derrick figured out how to remove the cover. You had to remove the watch strap to remove the cover.. And that stopid lady had to cheek to say "Teach me teach me.. i give you the battery free"

That's it.. By this time, i was really mad and derrick didn't want to say anything. he knew i was furious. But i kept my cool.. So in the end, Derrick pulled it out. And she asked again "how do you remove the battery?" super pengz le... And we even had to search through batteries to find the correct replacment. By now.. I was really mad.

And guess what this lady had the cheek to say.. She took back her words and said "Okk.. $5 just for the battery" OMG>>> We did the battery replacement ourselves and you did a bad scratch to me.. AND YOU SAID FREE and now you say $5.. This time, i couldn't hold it and argued with her. And she said "Why you don't want to pay?".

i said "You obviously didn't know how to change battery and you did a bad scratch to the watch and now you changed your stand about the battery being free.." And she actually said "Your husband could have scratched it also.." Super super super buay tahan.. i wanted to walk out without paying but Derrick said, Just give her the $5. seriously. at that time, i felt like creating a scene. I have never in my life met such service. it's either pay $5 to get the matter off or to create a big scene.

It's not the $, i'm pissed becos of her attitude and more so.. She scratched the watch i bought for derrick. In the end, we paid that $5 as we can't be bothered with her.
