My failed experiement: Yuo tiao and dao suan

was in the cooking mood and decided to try making yuo tiao and dao suan.. negative.. failed

The yuo tiao turned out more like bread or cheerios sticks. We didnt' have weighing scale so we used volume to gauge. Guess that didn't work out so well. Going to attempt this again after i go out and buy a weighing scale.


As for the dao suan, i left it too long on the stove while i'm getting the sugar and derrick filling up the sugar jar.. Turned out more like porridge.. Taste was good. just overcooked that it became too soft.
