Live Search Ship Party 2007

Yeah.. I got invited to the party.. Well Derrick works in the Microsoft Live team and to celebrate their recent release, they are having a party at the space needle. At first, Derrick wasn't too keen to go for the party as it means having to drive downstown to Seattle for the party. But i wanted to go.. As both of us have yet been up the Space needle and to add, a Microsoft Ship Party.

We never regret going, it's definitely the coolest party we ever been to. It's an all-paid private adult only party by Microsoft and dress code was business casual. Both of us ended up too casual as the people ard were dressed up for the party. It's those kind of parties i used to read about in magazines. Free flow of alcohol, expensive food like oysters, prawns, scallops. etc.. served on a huge ice sculpture.

Both of us have never been up to the space needle as it will cost us $20 each to do that. Not only is the entrance fee free, everything on that night is free. Alcohol, food buffet style, food restaurant style... K, only thing we missed out was having meal at the restaurant. It was packed and they were turning people away. Unless you are patient to wait for ur turn..... The restaurant is cool as it rotates and moreover, it's free..

We spent the most part of the night at the lounge, drinking beer while listening to the band - Chopsticks. The band was really good and the crowd was spontantous too.. Who say geeks are boring...
