We celebrated Derrick's birthday by going leavenworth aka German Village

Both of us have never been to Leavenworth which is also called German Village. It's more than 2 hours drive away and we were surprised to see snow while we were on the road. Yes, it's fall now but we had to pass the mountains on the way there.

Leavenworth is an interesting town but i guess we won't be making a second trip soon. It's just too long a drive though the mountains and the snow.
