Late harvest of lavender

Been so busy for the past 6 weekends that i finally found some time to do some gardening. My mini garden is growing messy and the lavender are running wild. And they have started blooming. I should have cut them before they bloom but i simply had no time.

So this weekend, while the guys came over to watch World Cup. I did some gardening with some friend's help. It took us 3 hours to cut and trim the lavender. See how much lavender it yield?

The rightmost is from last year. I have 5 bundles in all and i gave 1 to my friend that was helping me. They smell really good on the stairway...
